Cherry Clafoutis


  • 3 eggs
  • 150gm sugar
  • 60gm flour
  • 50gm melted butter
  • 500ml milk
  • 1 spoon cream
  • 250gm cherries


1. Whip together eggs and sugar until doubled in volume. Add flour and mix well. Add warm milk and cream, followed by the melted butter.

2. Grease your mould and dust with flour. Lay the fruits, pour over the clafoutis mixture. Cook in oven for 1 hour at low temperature.

N.B. It is best to use unpitted cherries for this recipe.
